Let’s all support American risk takers.

In the riding sequence (at 0:25 of the video), it’s blowing smoke in front of the rider’s left foot. It looks like it is puffing oil smoke in every riding shot. Also, it appears that the rider is slipping the clutch the whole time. If you watch on YouTube at high definition and slow speed it becomes more evident.

One might expect this during development of a prototype machine. At the same time, including a demonstrably malfunctioning prototype in a video targeting potential customers and investors is odd.

are you sure it is not tire smoke ? My guess about the clutch is, he had it pulled in, costing beside the camera vehicle

Roadster is a trademark of Harley-Davidson. They won’t get too far before the name changes.

Nice concept, small market, S&S engine boring.

I checked it out at the NY Motorcycle Show yesterday. It’s definitely a prototype. Looking closely at it, there were a lot of rough spots. I’m curious how they plan to make the pop out turn signals work. The front left was just flopping around in it’s slot, the front right seemed locked in. The plastic cover over the cam belts looks really cheaply done, nowhere near as nicely executed as with Confederate. Looked at it real close, and still couldn’t tell exactly where the exhaust exits. It looks like it might be coming out of multiple slots facing multiple directions. And of course, if they plan on actual, street legal production, they’ll still have to figure out things like fenders, mirrors, and license plate mounting.
If they can actually manufacture and sell this for thirty grand, more power to them!

Appearance is everything on the showroom floor. This is far from a complete sell able motorcycle. Hope they come up with some ride able designs. $30k as a base price is a pretty high bar. All the other manufacturers have models far less expensive. Good luck.

Carl: In the premium custom market though $30,000 is very affordable. The cheapest Confederate motorcycle for example is over twice that price.

this Bike is a Project Bike introducing a Prototype so they have something to show Investors! This is better than Pictures! Do not believe that this Bike will be Built for $30 grand. Couple Important Questions:Where is the Facility? Where is the Machinery? This Bike probably cost $100K to build! Where is the Norton? They have been building them since 2008 when Stuart Garner bought the rights? Where are the Excelsior Henderson”s they Blew $100 Million of Investor money. They Built 1950 Bikes in 2 Years. They were charging $19 Grand almost 15 years ago, and they couldn’t manage. $19K back then would be almost $35 – $40k 2016 money. I see this Bike is all 1 off Parts. there is no way they can Build this Bike for $30G.

Dreaming the perpetual IPO dream. It’s never going to happen.

Certainly an interesting concept, trading off manufacturing time, reduced parts count, and manpower for CNC time and quick uncomplicated assembly.
