RSD Brake Calipers

Roland Sands states that his brake calipers are a step up in braking power for your V-Twin bike.

You can couple RSD brake calipers with their RSD radial master cylinders. Offered in Black Ops, Chrome, Contrast Cut, Machine Ops For Dyna 2000-16, Softail 2000-14 except FSXTS, Sportster 2000-13, FLH 2000-07 with 11.5” disc, VRod 2002-2005 except VRSCR. Roland Sands Design.

    No price listed in the summary above but since it is RSD, I’ll guess around $600-$800 per caliber. Will stop your bike just the same as the stock calipers, but you’ll have the privilege of advertising for RSD.

    Were these the same brake calipers that he was running at the Buffalo Chip this year in Sturgis?

    I’m sorry, but I can’t justify the prices of his equipment. A few years ago I did buy one of his fancy air cleaners for a bike. Eye candy. Period. My mechanic friend has never looked at me the same since then.

    RSD often do nice stuff. These really don’t do anything for me style wise. As for pricing, I bought a set of their clips ons for my cafe’d Sportster and paid a ridiculous price for them. I didn’t even use the little RSD stick on circles on them.
    The next month I bought some Chinese clip ons for less than a third the cost – they look AND work just as well, and no cheesy advertising.
