There is not such thing as a fully blacked-out factory or even custom motorcycle. Soon, you will be able to go closer to the 100% sinister look using black brake discs.
In June, Ride Nice will release the “Platinum Black” brake discs featuring a corrosion-protection finish that is actually Zinc Plated. The process is described by the company as an extensive, hand-applied operation that is not sprayed onto the rotor like other inferior coatings. Each “Platinum Black” brake disc is immersed in different solutions during the coating process.
The final result is a thick, protective coating with a black mirrored look. Of course you can re-use your stock disc hardware but Ride Nice will also offer black hardware sold separately. Each Platinum Black Disc should be sold for $189.95.
Corrosion resistance is cool. Blacked out bikes are boring and cliche like tattoos. When everyone has something, it’s no longer rebellious.
ditto, would like to see it after 20k miles
@ Rebel , its not about the ride , its all about the look , nowadays …………………………………………
