Might be able to use this in a custom build I’m doing … thanks!
Why do they have to slap on “MF” all over their products? It has no asthetic appeal and kills the look of the exhaust!
Because they copy each other.
The main advantage is stainless steel headers.
I recently watched S&S explain the problems caused by drag pipes, drag pipes with baffles, drag pipes with various devices to lessen the problems caused by this type of exhaust. They do look cool and they are loud. So many of the designs similar to this one from MagnaFlow actually state performance improvements. Of course they are much more simple, lighter, and look cool to many, but are there any true gains available performance wise?
They have another pipe with X chamber, should be a much better performer.
Which pipes have the x over.can send pics of x over mf pipes for fat boy s
Think I’ll just stay with the V&H 2-1 system that came with my 07 FXSTC. Sound is good enough for me even if there are other race pipes that would enhance performance. I’ll pay money if a system has the look but makes a big change in performance. Of course until I do major engine performance work like go from 96 to 113+ then I don’t expect gains from bolt ons. Split the cases, S&S 3 piece crank, Timken etc to build a solid foundation first.
they are cop magnets.
and i agree, too much with the logos. RSD is the leader on this kind of thing. s&s is much more subtle.
