For its new “Bolt-On and Ride” series in which Custom Chrome Europe commissions well known builders to create customs using parts they distribute, CCE just introduced for the 1st time a custom Harley Milwaukee-Eight, the most recent and future generation of Harley-Davidson® V-Twin engines touring line (2 versions 107” & 114”)
Named Gotcha, the 10% more power, quicker acceleration, heat management, reduced vibration touring machine was customized by Thunderbike Germany from its own catalog parts, a few one-off and those picked from CCE’’s major vendors. I have to note that many official Harley dealers are quite shy and intimidated at the idea to “improve/modify” a Milwaukee-Eight, and that the objective of CCE with its custom partner Thunderbike, was to demonstrate that’s ’s possible to create from stock a better looking Harley machine without changing its motorcycle personality.
This custom Milwaukee-Eight went through a merticulous road testing with Andreas Scholz as the pilot into the mountains along the Rhine river (FYI, the place where Elvis spent time during his US military service in Germany). Bike frame and motor have been retained but in a new air-ride suspension for a more radical overall appearance and this without calling for the excess of a giant front wheel. A “reasonable” 26 inch front wheel is still possible without frame modifications with this “Bolt-on Daytona Bagger Rake Kit” developed by Thunderbike itself.
Rick’s is another big German name in the custom Bagger world and added its own proprietary popular touring accessories Other major names whose parts were added to Gotcha, include Kuryakyn, Dirty Birds, Cycle Smith, Bahn accessories, Kellerman, etc. (photos @ H. Roesler. Model. Julie)
Is this a garden? Because I dig it!
Conservative bagger. I like.
Reminds me of current production Indians.
MMA – Except this looks nice.
Nice! Anybody know who makes that pipe???
That’s new Kerker pipe.
I always knew CCE as Custom Cycle Engineering……..
Poofy

CCE Custom Chrome Europe
CCI Custom Chrome International
Beautiful looking bike. I would have left the crash bar off.
Could someone give that anorexic lady a hamburger?
And comb and brush!
Love that tank, won’t point out what it reminds me of lol. Knock the front wheel down to a 21 or 23 and change the fender and it’d be about perfect.
I second that motion, RBinTEX
Nice bike, but the shorty exhaust goes against the rest of the bike. Maybe that is all you can do with bolt on parts.
Custom Cycle Engineering has been around a lot longer than Custom Chrome in Europe. Therefore, CCE is Custom Cycle Engineering.
yep… when i seen CCE, I automatically thought Custom Cycle Engineering too!
Thanks for the nice story, Cyril.
I have uploaded some more pics incl. making-of on our website: http://www.thunderbike.de/galleries/tb_galleries/cce_bagger2017_makingof.php
