Artist David Uhl Offering Two New Pieces For This Year’s Sturgis Rally.

As you may know, David has created a special piece for Sturgis each year since 2005.  Orders will be taken at the special Rally prices through the end of this year’s rally (August 13th).  Signed, numbered canvas prints are now available to order.  Please see below for all specifics.

“Fuel for the Soul”. This piece features David’s better half, Elizabeth, who has been the subject in a few other pieces throughout the years. Image size 27×20, $895 framed or Image size 40×30, $2,295 (pre-rally price $1,895, good through August 3rd). These Fine Art prints will come framed and we will also include shipping within the contiguous 48 United States.

“Black Hills Ballad”.
This piece features Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brothers.  Pat is an avid vintage motorcycle fan and friend of David. Two options on this one: The canvas print alone is $895 framed and shipped within the lower 48 United States. Image size 27×20.

David aldo created 3 studies while constructing the piece (see below).  This deluxe package includes the framed canvas print and all 3 unframed paper prints (appx 11×14) and is priced at $1,295 through August 13th.  The canvas prints will be signed by Pat Simmons and David Uhl.

As always, edition numbers will be assigned as orders are taken and matching numbers are available for those who are adding to their Sturgis Series pieces. Fornew collectors, these Sturgis commemorative pieces are a great way to get into David’s work.  The smaller pieces would normally be $1,250 PLUS shipping.  And because of the immediate scarcity of these prints after the rally, they typically go up in value very quickly.

Great Pic’s. Would love to own any of them but when I saw the guy with the guitar leaning against his bike out camping I was left wondering where the dog came from. It’s not like the dog could keep up or ride on the bike (too big). If it had a sidecar…

Uhl is one the very best for sure!
