There is always room for improvement to make your starting easier, quieter and more reliable when you use an after-market open belt system. Tauer Machine® just introduced a new quite affordable 3” open belt primary called the “Warlord”. This open belt system has some new features. Gear ratio closer to stock gear ratio (to facilitate starts with big inch motors). The clutch basket is completely redesigned using Premium Alto’s Red Eagle material. Standard setup comes with 7 fibers and can be upgraded to 9 by adding 2 more fibers and changing the pressure plate. The Warlod is provided standard with a diaphragm clutch spring and a Gates 8mm belt. A new 3 pc spring loaded starter jackshaft provides superior engagement and reduces grind at start up. One piece billet 6061-T6 motor plate is available in polish, black wrinkle or chrome. 3/8” thick billet outer cover plate is provided with 2 domed covers and the rear one can be switched out for any 5 bolt derby cover.
