Big Bear Choppers New GTX Bagger

After a hiatus of almost 15 years, baggers are again attracting customizers and small volume bike manufacturers. They are all busy at designing very creative touring bikes. A good example is Big Bear Choppers with their new Grand Touring C-Wedge (GTX) which will be offered for sale in November as part of the 2008 fleet. You will immediately notice the unusual position of the rider & passenger sitting way forward the rear wheel. The reason? By placing more weight in the center of the bike you are supposed to get better handling & comfort. There are 2 fuel tanks for a total of 6 gallons, the auxiliary tank being placed under the seat near the oil tank. Regarding the body work, I let you appreciate the flowing lines due tothe low stance and the stretched out saddlebags. A new version of this GTX is also in he works and should also appear in November. Big Bear Choppers.

flowing lines. its a rear 3/4 shot so i think the illusion of stubbiness is caused by the angle of the photo the bike is long look at the seating area. flat as a board the air cleaner and gas tank lines match the bags and then the rear fender is a half round off the shelf piece? what gives?i know this is a pre-production piece and a foward thinking kevin aslop has done it again. but the rear fender needs to be sharper and longer to match the rest of the bike..i like it. thunder header and the new x-wedge engine should make great power and the 6 gallons are a blessing. overall huge thumbs up..not trying to be a critic but the fender sticks out. the rest is awesome. great job kevin. keep selling and keep growing, anyone in this economy who can push foward and grow is a smart person. congrats

Very interesting bagger. But I wonder about the rider position.

Fantastic concept, breathes fresh life into the bagger design. The world’s first totally cool bagger in my opinion.
