Kiwi Indian Flathead Engine

Suited for bobbers, choppers and any customs with old school look, it’s no surprise that this Flathead offered in 80 or 84 displacement comes from Indian Kiwi Motorcycles. It will be hand crafted for you in Kiwi’s facility in Riverside California and of course tested and pre-run before delivery. It’s a 42-degree v-twin flathead design equipped with a CV carburetor and electronic ignition. Call Mike Tomas on my behalf at 800-601-kiwi or go to Indian Kiwi Motorcycles.

    Very Cool!

Will it take a Mouse Trap to convert the clutch from rocker to lever or has the actuator been modified to take a cable?

Cyril, as a distributor for Kiwi and a friend of Mikes we’re really stoked about having this news out as this motor will be in our own build for Rats Hole which will be a bobber sidecar ride. The motors that Kiwi builds go through constant and extensive testing and if anyone has seen his blog or heard about his adventures they would understand why these engines are second to none! Look for other news from Mike too as he’s got a few things up his sleeve as well. His facility in Riverside is one that people have to visit if they get a chance, as it shows the quality craftsmanship and personel that Kiwi surrounds himself with. You can’t go wrong with this engine!

I feel pretty honored to be here within Cyril’s Blog.
I am currently working on a hand clutch and foot shifter as well as an electric starter option.
We are currently creating a new bike for Michael Lichter’s “One World Choppers” exhibit at Sturgis in the Thunderdome opposite the Quick Throttle Saloon which we hope to see you there.
