A New Custom Shop Of Love And Hate

A new custom shop? Cool. By beginners? Not really. Love Hate Choppers (LHC) is the association of renowned tattoo artist Ami James (Miami Ink TV show) with master custom builder Marlowe B. They opened shop on Washington Avenue in South Beach Miami (of course), are wrenching their first bikes with hard core styling and finesse in the details, and are getting ready to hit Daytona where the duo will display at the Seminole Hard Rock Road House outside the Dog House Bar & Grill at 601 Main Street (from February 29 to March). Love Hate Choppers.

    What’s the message here:?
    “Love Tattoos, Hate Choppers”..?
Site didn’t seem to explain it.
Could only down loaded some parts, rest was just too slow.

2 very nice guys. I enjoyed meeting them both at Cinci and sitting down and talking bikes with them both.
Looking forward to riding Death Valley with you both.

    Nicker,
Love and Hate were the knuckle tattoos that many bikers had in the old school days

    Nicker,
I didn’t say that they were building old school or building anything. I just gave you a reference of the Love Hate tattoos and when they were popular. The love/hate tattoo on your knuckles comes from the 1955 film The Night of the Hunter. Love/Hate symbolizes the struggle between Good and Evil, most memorably in the scene where Powell tells the story behind his tattooed knuckles. It has been often been mentioned, imitated, and referenced in pop culture.

    Hmmm… 1955 Movie?
    OK thanks.
So, if “The Night of the Hunter” was a biker flick, i get it.
    Otherwise…..?
    RE:
    “…struggle between Good and Evil…’
These days a scooter shop is gonna need more than “symbology” to make it.
