Two weeks ago I told you that S&S was about to release FHP components to complete new vinage engines. S&S knows that the demand for quality replacement parts for vintage restorations is at an all time high, reason why last year they bought Flathead Power. The list of new products from Flathead Power by S&S will start with 1936-‘47 big twin tappet blocks, and tappets in standard and +.005” over sizes. The tappet blocks are silver powder coated for that stock look and are available as a set or single pieces. Next, 1963-‘65 cam covers with the flat look of a ’65, as well as a 1966-‘69 stock replacement cam cover will be available. The list of great available components keeps going with 1937–‘48 UL/ULH (medium compression) aluminum cylinder heads that will be available in a silver finish and available as a set or single piece. Cylinder heads, cylinders, rocker arms and rocker shafts for 1936-’47 big twins, along with a complete 93” KN engine will be released by the end of May 2008. All of these products are made, machined and assembled in the USA. Information at FlatHead Power or S&S Cycle
