Chopper Motorcycle Challenge On Country Music Television

The first episode of “Chopper Challenge” will air tomorrow night on CMT. The builder featured is Kirk Taylor of Custom Design Studios. I understand that in the show he is building an old school style custom bike for Geico Insurance. Kirk created his shop in 1988, offering the services of a full machine shop, fabrication and motorcycle assembly and even a paint booth. I wonder if during the show the producer let him wear his L-cky F-cker tee-shirt. I doubt. Let’s check tomorrow evening Wednesday May 14 at 8.30 PT, 11.30 ET on CMT. Custom Design Studios.

kirk’s new scoot is not the run of the mill corporate bike. very nice work, subtle. engraving is clean. paint, as usual, is top notch. hard to tell it’s a geico commission.

kirk is one of my favorite builders- the bike pictured above is one of my all time favorites. the details and nod to the past are incredible. every inch of the bike was planned and worked out. beautiful machine. this guy is as straight up as they come and talented.

nice to see him getting the national exposure on TV. good for him.

Kick ass new show I like chopper shows, need more shows like this one . or more that shows the real biker life style not weekend bikers that take off there suit and tie and put on there leather jacket and poof there a biker. Bike builders like mondo from denver choppers or arlen ness the old timers they made all the parts on there bikes in the day not from a mag or book or next day air it was from there hands or junk yards the bikes are the same parts its the price that has changed No more $4000 dollar show bike its $50,000 and $100,000 show bikes same parts just as cool so yes i like the show .
    thanks
