OCC New Wicked Ride.

OCC is going from custom built motorcycles to MotoCoasters.  Darien Lake’s newest thrill ride is called the Orange County Choppers MotoCoaster. It’s a ride involving street modified super sport motorcycles launching passengers from 0 to 40 mph in 3 seconds up 40 feet in the air, speeding through eights, hairpin turns, and back. The partnership between the theme park and OCC includes the building of a custom motorcycle inspired by this wicked ride. And of course, it will make a great pretext for shooting a new episode of the TV show American Chopper.

What the hell does OCC have to do with sportbikes? They can’t even build a chopper.

all you guys with the negative remarks, have you ever talked to OCC or ridden one of thier bikes, or know anyone who owns one??
    nothing but ignorant and jealous

  16. 16 B Rock Jun 16th, 2008 at 11:34 am

Micheal B. I do know some one who owns one, and it is junk, and quite ugly. To call some one ignorant, simply because they have a different view than yours, shows who the ignorant one really is. Now go put on your OCC do-rag, OCC wife beater, under your OCC t-shirt, under your OCC leather, with your matching OCC Wallet, belt, buckle, and boots. Be surre to freshen up with your OCC bubble bath,OCC feminine rinse, OCC cologne, and OCC breath mints, practice your OCC video game, and enjoy the OCC ride. I am sure it is meant to be looked at and not ridden anyways. They are the poster childeren of over commercialized, over rated, sell out jerk offs. I cannot wait untill the cartoon comes out.

All I can say is they are rapidly making the “customs chopper market” look like a circus….wow great job OCC…..THATS SARCASM BY THE WAY

  18. 18 OCC Owner Sep 26th, 2008 at 12:49 am

I own one and love it. I have owned many bikes in the past 35 years and I rate this one as one of the best that I have owned. Too many guys are blinded by the show andhave not taken the time to ride one of their bikes built for the street. I have gone on 1000 mile rides and have had no problems other than the typical big twin chopper problems. I now have over 24000 miles on it and have not had to crack open the drivetrain other than maintenance projects I have to agree with Mike B about the statements you guys are making about the OCC bikes.I,on the other hand am making statements based on facts and not emotion. You are making statements about the bikes when in reality ,you just don’t like Paul Sr and Jr. And if you don’t like them or how they run their business-well that is fine, but don’t cut down the bikes. They are well engineered and unlike many of the choppers out there built by some of the bigger well known cmpanies, they handle great and run great. Every part and peice on my bike was either made in house or made by some of the best companies out there. This would include H&L,Baker,Mean Street,Danny Grey,Metzler,HHI,Primo Brute IV,Rc Components,Carlini,Headwinds, ect. Like I said, the bikes are great and well built. The Teutils,I have met,and in person, away from all the hype, are down to Earth and just regular guys. Have they made a lot of money? Hell yea. Are they struggling with this quick rise to fame? Hell yea. Will the company survive the industries turndown because of the economy? I believe they will and I have seen where they are putting their money where their mouth is. Did you know that the Splitback model was voted best chopper of the year at the V Twin Expo this year? Kinda hard to win that award with a poorly built, badly engineered motorcycle. Like I said, you need to get your facts straight before stating what you were stating earlier in this blog. When you do that, you are clearly letting your ignorance of the facts and your emotions show through between the lines.

    -Owner.

    Understand this.
Anytime you make your industry look like its run by the “Three Stooges” your going to have others from that industry “Shun” you.

What you are reading isn’t about Jealousy, it’s about sanctioning people who have given the rest a bad name.

The people who have spent years developing their craft and their product are seen by the general public through the same “TV lens” that OCC has created. And they don’t like it. Can you blame them?
