Well, if you wonder what I am doing today (no, you don’t), I am going to see “Shine A Light” in an IMAX theater. Academy award winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese shot this documentary during a concert of the Rolling Stones at the legendary art-deco Beacon Theater in New-York. Here is a movie highlight of the most enduring and best live rock ‘n roll band in the world.

Enjoy. It’s Class. Lots of highlights but the best bit for me was Mick’s voice during As Tears Go By.
Best live show ever filmed. Ever. Ever.
Would be great to get your comments, I posted a review here:

You should have taken Sonny Barger with you, he ain’t seen them since Altamont!!
A fabulous film of a fabulous band in a fabulous performance. Sure wish Scorsese had kept his ego and his coaching off-screen. He did the same thing with “Last Waltz,” and it is just a distraction. But mainly, I came away with such jealousy toward Jagger. We are the same age, and I couldn’t move like that for a full minute without lying down to take a nap.
I can only hope to live as long as Mick and Keith! peace
