Burly Bars For Your Bagger

Custom baggers (in particular, bikes with Batwing fairings) require custom bars. Additional bends, compound curves and for the 2008 and newer models a fly by wire throttle system. All fairly daunting challenges, but not for a company that’s been committed to custom motorcycles for the last 15 years. Measuring in at an ideal 13” tall and 1 1/4” around, the Burly Bagger Bars just crest the fairing, taper smoothly into the hand controls and are dimpled and drilled for internal wiring. CNC bent curves snake around gauges and avoid interfering with speakers or fairing mounted mirrors, all the while offering the optimum in style and rider comfort. I have a set of these on my 2004 FLHT, electra glide, and I love them! They feel great and work well for long rides! I’m 5’11” tall and my arms are at just the right hight, shoulders are hiegher than the bars so my hands do not fall asleep. I would recommend just a few things, 1) change out your handle bar bushings to urithan since you are tearing down the front end any way. 13 inches put alot of stress on them. 2) purshace a solid top center handle bar plate. HD went to these in 2008 and didn’t say a word to any one because they sell a simular bar set and found it help prevent excessive twisting. 3) when extending your your wires to fit the longer langth, look for a good company where all you have to do is plug and pop and heat shrink it! Good luck, and enjoy.
