Important Sturgis Builders Breakfast Update

As the opposite of what some have stated, the 3rd annual Sturgis Builders Breakfast is not cancelled, but modified from its normal routine to attract more attendees in a challenging economy. We realized that most people participating this year to the Rally are doing so by tightening their belts. Many wished to participate to the Builders Breakfast but told us that the access fee would stretch their budget too much. With that in mind, today we changed our plans so more people can come and ultimately more kids can see their last wish come to life through the South Dakota Make A Wish Foundation. Builder Rick Fairless. Explains: “Why should the kids suffer because the event looks like it’ll be down and gas is overpriced? It doesn’t make sense. So, it was decided that the Builders Breakfast entry fee of $25 will be waived. In addition, Builders will bring their bikes into the Meet And Greet area. You can come meet the best in the industry and have your picture taken with them on their bike! How about that? Also, an auction will take place with one-of-a kind items and we will pass the “skull cap” to collect funds for our friends at the awesome “Make A Wish Foundation”. In conclusion, the Breakfast will be less about food and more about the kids. The event tales place Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 AM at the Broken Spoke on Lazelle Street. A selection of the best Motorcycle Builders on the planet will be on hand serving coffee and visiting with attendees. Of course, you can still volunteer a donation of $25 and you will receive a special gift. To do so, you can contact me at 561-392-5557, or my fellow builders Covington Customs, Leroy Thompson Choppers, Carolina Customs and Arlen Ness.

Great News! Its always a fun event and great to see everyone, lets do what we can for those less fortunate than us and forge ahead. Numbers mean nothing, its the spirit of those in attendance and the willingness to share the camaraderie and give that matters.
We welcome you all back to South Dakota and look forward to seeing you there!

It is a great event and for a good cause too. The more the merrier and the better for the kids too, our future. Don’t forget to participate in the auction, it’s fun and the money goes to a good cause.

Cool idea. But you can’t tell me that if you own a bike and can afford to get to Sturgis that you can’t ante up a mere $25 for such a great cause. Kudos to the builders and the organisers, but let’s show that bikers are not cheapskates. Take it out of your beer budget!

Jerry & I have had the honor of participating in the builders breakfast each year and are glad to see the outpouring of interest to keep it going. It is an opportunity not only for the public to meet with the builders but the builders themselves to get together. It is a win win situation….raising money and hanging out with the best people in the industry. So everyone get out there have fun, open your heart and dig deep in those pockets!
