Complete 2009 Indian Chief Lineup & Accessories In Sturgis

As I told you since April, the 2009 Indian Chief lineup will be on display in the Black Hills at the 68th Anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The line includes 4 models: Chief Standard, Deluxe, Roadmaster and Vintage, each with several color/leather/accessories options. Event staff will be present to answer questions about the bikes and the company. The Indian Motorcycle show trailer will be located at 4th and Lazelle Street, and in addition to the new models, the company also plans to exhibit several of their accessory offerings and apparel, which will be available for purchase in Indian Motorcycle Dealerships and on the company’s online store. Chris Bernauer, Indian Motorcycle’s General Manager said: “to see the culmination of years of engineering and hard work come together at such a historic rally as Sturgis is truly inspiring”. Event Manager, Marc Pomerantz announced that he expects a big crowd and “we will be giving away a free commemorative, limited edition Indian Motorcycle Sturgis pin to the first 500 people to stop by the truck every day. The management reiterates its intent to slowly and methodically carve out its niche in the heavyweight cruiser motorcycle market. Indian Motorcycle.

I wouldn’t hold my breath that they look or perform any different than in years past …. lets say 50 years past!

Hmmm, if they went for the same look they got out of their new big rig they might have a seller. But sadly they are still ugly as sin and slow as hell….Sorry cant sell an ugly bike but maybe the weird people out there will buy a bike due to the nice rig.

Is the “New Indian” selling motorcycles or semi’s?? It seems as though the press releases coming from them like to talk about $35,000 Chief’s but all feature pictures of the new truck.
