New GMA Brakes By BDL

A familiar name with a new look. Since their acquisition of GMA, Belt Drives Limited has made some style and design upgrades to the GMA brake calipers. While the internal design has not been changed they are now offered in both smooth black anodizing and mirror finish or show quality chrome. BDL/GMA calipers carry superior quality brake pads and precision crafted pistons to ensure positive stopping power. For complete details call BDL at 714-685-3333 or visit Belt Drive Limited.

Sounds good. I’ve used a number of BDL products over the years and all have been top quality.
So I imagine these calipers will be finished to the same high standard of other BDL products and look forward to seeing them up close.

My local indy shop can’t even get a return phone call from BDL regading GMA brakes. My bike is on hold due to a rebuild kit for a model f caliper. Where can I find one, and when will BDL answer the phone?

    Hello everyone.
I am having trouble finding the rubber gasket to seal my front GMA Mastercylinder.
Not even listed in Harley Fat book.
I think I will have to take a piece of innertube and make my own.
    Good luck to everyone else.
    Gary

Before GMA sold to BDL if you had any problems, you could call GMA and talk to someone friendly and get great help and advice. Unfortunately, BDL is notoriously bad when it comes to their non-existant customer service. Mr. Gardner should have found someone else to sell to!
