Cyril Huze Blog Is 2 Years Old.

On September 30th 2006, I was publishing my 1st Post titled “See You Next Post”. This new post is the 1421 eme published after 2 years of Blogging. Wow! Cyril Huze Blog is since 1 year the most visited, most read, most commented “Custom Motorcycle News” Blog in the world dedicated to the Custom Oriented V-Twin Industry (see below).
In 2008 we still expanded our readership while most US motorcycle print magazines have a lower circulation. We are 1st in Traffic Rank. Our Traffic Rank is # 90,238 (1 week average) out of an estimated 98 million websites and an estimated 72 million Blogs in the world.  (Source Alexa). The smaller the rank number, higher is the traffic. (Google ranks #1). Our main online direct competitor ranks 111,500 websites behind us. We are 1st in number of Visited Pages Per Visitor. Average of 17 visits per reader. (Source Alexa). We are 1st in number of real human visits excluding spam & robots, averaging 168,500 human visits/month (Source Google Analytics). Readers come from 65 different countries and territories (USA 74.37%, Canada 5.51%, UK 2.15%, Australia 1.63%, France 1.28%, Germany 1.27%, Italy 0.82% etc). Every month an average of 11% are Absolute New Visitors discovering this Blog through organic searches made mainly on Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines (Source Google Analytics). Note that this Blog has more visits every month than the #1 American V-Twin oriented motorcycle magazine has paid subscribers and copies sold in newsstands. In addition, 4947 readers (professionals and individuals) have agreed to receive our Weekly Updates in their email box, with 1186 opting to receive the Daily Edition via morning email or live RSS subscription (2 to 3 new articles are published every day of the year). Our “Testimonial Page” shows the very high interest custom motorcycle fans, professionals, medias and advertisers have for the news (companies/products/people) delivered in this Blog. Many of them are insider breaking news.

Thanks to all of you around the world for your daily support, participation and daily comments. I will continue to track the scoops, bring you exclusive news, let the most influential people of the industry express their thoughts and of course let you comment each article. (For Blog Sponsorship info and rates contact Pam Proctor at 734-544-1304 or

Post Scriptum: For Traffic Rank we use “Alexa” because it’s one of the very few sources available to you to see the rank of any website in the world versus others, using the same exact methodology. For Traffic Data we use “Google Analytics” and not “Webaliser” or “Webtrends” because these 2 programs are unreliable, unable to differentiate Real Visitors from Robot Visits (Crawlers, Web Wanderers, Spiders, Spammers, etc). Authors of these 2 programs even discourage the use of their data to compare to other websites. They are recommended as tools to detect a traffic trend, up or down but NOT to track real human visits.

Amazing how a simple idea (and I am sure hard work) makes most other magazines look like dinosaurs. I dig the blog every morning and email to friends the most interesting news. Well deserved Cyril.

Once in a while in the realm of motorcycles one will encounter an individual with true character and purpose. You are serving that purpose with character and dignatie.

We wish you well my friend and thank you for letting us express ourselfs.

  21. 21 Mac Sep 30th, 2008 at 11:54 pm

Why is it when I run the site URL at Alexa I get has a traffic rank of: 112,609 vs. 90,238? No matter how you count it the numbers are most excellent! Congrats.

You didn’t discuss “google pennies” from the advertising strategies incorporated on the site…I don’t run ad’s, but do you plan to run a seminar for up and comer’s who could use some guidance?

  22. 22 Cyril Oct 1st, 2008 at 5:46 am

Mac. You misread my article and the Alexa page. I mentioned in the post above that 90238 is the traffic rank for last week. On the Alexa page 112609 is the average rank for the last 3 months. The average rank for the last 3 months is adjusted every week by Alexa. So, the average 3 months rank is going to be even better. Running a seminar to explain Google Ads? Why not? Where? During Daytona Bike week?

I really love the FeedBurner technology that you employ to get the word out to everyone on a daily basis! In checking it out, I see that it’s a Chicago based company bought up by Google… from one editor to another – you really do an awesome job! Congrats!

It’s a big part of its success. Cyril, you demonstrate again that you are a great designer whatever you design, bikes, parts, clothing, websites. A faithful reader and admirer..
