The Shooter By David Uhl

David Uhl is proud to announce the release of his latest masterpiece “The Shooter”.  A year in the making, this stunning work features photographer/bike mechanic Sara Liberte graced by the morning sun, ready to go to work shooting the rally up the canyon in Deadwood, South Dakota.  Sara actually sat for David out in front of the Gold Dust Casino this year while he finished up the piece. The original painting will stay in the Gold Dust Casino so the next time you’re in Deadwood, stop by and check it out! Sara works with many custom bike builders and she is very well known in the industry for her own style of fine art photography.  A very limited edition canvas print release has been made available for purchase through Uhl Studios. To reserve your print, simply call Greg at: 303-948-1088

Isn’t that the late Sam Morgan in the upper right corner?

I visited the Gold Dust while the art was in progress and it was one of the more stunning creative moments I have had the opportunity to witness. Very powerful and moving. A joyous occassion. Yes, that is the one and only beautiful Sam, beaming on the canvas. How blessed are we to have such amazing humans in our midst who can both capture and become such art.

Woo Hoo David is amazing – I got to see this at the Gold Dust when visiting Sara & David and again at the 105th at Hal’s where Sara was on display inside and building a bike outside with the XX Chromes…David truly is a master artist from paintings of Elvis, Parham, Willie, collectible motorbikes, to his intense of the best of our time…Great works!
