“There are many ways a man can express himself. But there are not many things I can do. I have found something on which I will pour my life. I do not know if I will make it to the end of the road, so all I can do is ride toward that place. A man should take pride in his work and my work gives me confidence for the courage to stand up and face my dream. The only way to capture it” Chicara, Chicara Art

Major Cool!
Obviously a labor of love and craftsmanship.
To it’s creator, the end product is irrelevant when compared to the journey of it’s production.
How it’s perceived, however, depends largely on the viewer.
Arguably, no object is perceived the same by all who see it and so it’s “value”
is nebulous. The object’s true value lies in the creator’s experience while realizing that build.
Those who truly appreciate an object do so in large part by relating to the builder’s experience, not
because of the particular stylistic expression that was chosen.
For those who “get it,” viewing such an object will keep us transfixed.
(For the rest, the implications should be obvious)
IMHO anyway.
-nicker-
It is art and should be accepted as such
Usual Chicara- Awesome- engineering masterpiece-
Mr Chicara’s bike is most certainly outstanding and the level of detail is incredible. A true gentleman. One only has to meet and see his bikes 1st hand to respect such a creator. Keep up the fine work my friend
Chicara is a very nice person. He doesn’t speak much English at all, but words weren’t needed when I spent time with him. I was in Sturgis two years ago when Mike Lichter was shooting the bike for Easyriders.
We spent hours looking at it from all angles and admiring the shots on the computer screen. This is one exceptional creation.
I really like the stuff all these Japanese bike builders are putting out like Shinya Kimura etc…
Should have dropped more bombs
