Best 2008 Automotive Conceptual Design

Each year the Los Angeles Car Show organizes a design competition.

This year theme was “Motorsports 2025”. And last weekend winner was the Mazda Kaan featured here. Is it a car with 3 wheels and 4 tires? Is it a motorcycle? A trike? Doesn’t matter. In 2025 I don’t think we will ride/drive this kind of “star wars” machine, but still we must admire the conceptual design and the audacity of the lines.

WTF is that supposed to be? Was it a prop from a sci-fi flick? Rather look at a old rigid powered by a panhead old enough to be made when my dad was a kid. I don’t like the UFO in the picture, call me old fashioned…

“star wars” is a correct description, sits awfully low. It would be cool to see it flying! peace

Sexy – but now I can’t get the theme music from the old Batman television program out of my head…

I wanna see how the suspension and steering works… both aspects are invisible, but I suspect it has both.

I would like to see a POV from the driver’s position to see how easy it would be for the driver to say “I didn’t see the motorcycle”.

Wish custom builders had the opportunity & budget to build some “WTF Mobiles”.
