    somebody’s hurting, huh?

  2. 2 Bobfather Feb 26th, 2009 at 12:29 am

Heh, yeah, gotta get more vendors to scalp for space plus sell off that stock that’s not moving anymore.

  3. 3 FU Feb 26th, 2009 at 1:19 am

It’s not like they didn’t have it coming. My crying towel is out for them.

  4. 4 BikerDATA Feb 26th, 2009 at 7:30 am

Biker Data supports Bruce and I am always amazed how negative some people become the second Bruce Rossmeyer’s name is mention. He has built a Disney World for the biker enthusiast and brings an estimated 50,000 people a day to Destination Daytona during Bike Week and Biketoberfest. That is why vendors pay his vending fees because they get the best bang for their buck. There is NO other location in Daytona that generates that much traffic. Not sure why that pisses off so many people.

Can you say Jealous or even maybe LOSER!

When I first met this man, I was amazed with his vision and desire to create Destination Daytona. In addition, I did hear a lot of negative from certain companies that bitched a lot. Therefore, I started to ask the people that came to Destination Daytona their opinion of Bruce and I have not heard one bad word from the people that spend their money there. They claim the prices on the bikes are the best and that the customer service is second to known. You go Bruce….

You are right BikerData. Unfortunately it’s human psychology to crriticize the leader/winner/successful. But who cares? Not Bruce. In business, only results count. And Bruce Rossmeyer benefits a lot to other motocycle and non related motorcycle businesses in the area of Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach. In addtion, all socities need…an emperor!

We all should look to Mr. Rossmeyer for inspiration. He is doing and has done more with his vision than most people can even begin to dream of.

My hat’s off to you and your team Mr. Rossmeyer.

I think that Bruce Rossmeyer and Destination Daytona are doing great and that it is a definate asset to Bike Week.
If you have been around long enough you will remember what happend with the property across the street from the Daytona – Beach Street Store. When the city reneged on a deal he told them he was moving and taking the party with him and HE DID! Thank You Bruce for doing that,
The city of Daytona Beach was and still is in many instances looking to get every dime it can out of the motorcycle riders. That is evident with the prices that they charge compared to Nascar and Spring Break rates that are before and after Bike Week.
Daytona seems to be realizing that motorcyclist are visiting areas out side the city and taking their money with them. That is good for the motorcycle riders.
The city has entered into a deal with Rossmeyer to have him use the property on Beach Street in hopes of bringing more business back to the city. I suspect that it will.
In the mean time the Only Problem with Destination Daytona is the Amount of Traffic getting to it.
Once there it has a lot to offer everyone.
Again Thanks Bruce for all you do for Motorcycle Riders!

Boys Boys Boys…go get yourself a beer and cheer up!

Like him or not…its the law of economics….When I purchased my 2008 Ultra Classic, Bruce Rossmeyer’s HD gave me the highest trade-in allowance ($1,500 to $2,500 above the dealers I contacted in SC, GA and FL)and the best price for the bike optioned out (below MSRP) and then with $4,000 in options with 20% off. Thaaats right….You must wonder now, don’t you?

So you coffee shop boys really need to wake up and get a life. The man has it going on like no other HD dealer and that is what makes goof balls like you so up tight. Come on down Saturday to see & hear Greg Allman…chill out and have a couple beers,,,I think that caffeine has you all wound up and wanking off.

Vroom Vroom Vroom….Firing up the Bagger in the morning and Destination Daytona will be my first stop Friday when we exit off the interstate. Hell I want to go see the pretty daughter, too, that nobody ever mentions…”Mandy” cause she is so so fine and plus she is just as sweet as candy.

Like my friend here says…over & out.

    long live Robinsons Harley DB
on my way to the 24th Bikeweek

just because of meeting old friends
    no dollars involved there…………….

  12. 12 Bobfather Feb 26th, 2009 at 2:36 pm

Rossmeyer is a business guy, no argument there. I think maybe he works that angle a little hard even on those that have supported him in the past. I know, friends don’t pay the bills but there is something to be said for the way he goes about doing business. The city of Daytona isn’t any picnic either. Between the city and real estate priates in that area we decided not to move one of our shops into that area.
The Ness store was always owned by Rossmeyer and licensed the name from Arlen as a dealership.

    Just an observation:

I thought Shelly did a good job on the video AND she is much nicer to look at than Bruce!

    Boss,

I cannot believe my eyes …. that is such a sexist thing to write …. the Femi-Nazis will be out in force after you now!

aw cmon Boss Hawg-some of the folks here would still complain if he got DUANE Allman to show up and play. Rogue nailed it, too. The man’s a success and worked hard at it. Anyone who doesn’t care to enjoy it with him is free to stay away! Haven’t seen a gecko trying to get MY autograph, how about the rest of you guys?

  18. 18 Road12 Feb 26th, 2009 at 11:30 pm

What a crack of shit. Everybody knows Rossemeyer is a businessman. Okay… He has a lot of influence in the area… cuz he was also a huge car dealership owner. He sells HDs like he sells cars. His employees are the least loyal ones I have ever seen. Nobody likes to work the the Rossemeyer family. They can send all the crappy messages they want, that’s not changing the fact that their business is way way down. No matter what they said or make you think, they are not doing good. But you guys also have to remember that the motorcycle stuff is just a small part of the Rossemeyer business. Real estate (good or bad – who would want to buy a $250,000 condo alongside a busy highway) with a resale value of half) is his main priority. You’ll see a strip mall right after Wyothech, Coca Cola, a movie theater, a concert area etc… Nice and cool during bike week, the Daytona 500 and Biketoberfest… a ghost town when all those guys are gone.

Good luck Bruce and company… you’re gonna need it. By the way, did you sell your private jet, truck(s) and 7 company cars yet? They were all for sale not long ago so you can afford to pay your sales guys $200/week selling bikes….

  19. 19 Boss Hawg Feb 27th, 2009 at 7:18 am

    Jeff,

Mandy is normally in the real estate (condo) section working. If I can make it back down mide-week or next weekend, I would be happy to meet up and run around a little with ya..If not just run out their and have her paged. Sorry Shelly, but Mandy is the sweet sexy one in your group.

Spoom…Greg lives just an hour north of me in Richmond Hill, GA. Looking forward to seeing him myself. By the way, nice looking fairings on your website.

Vroom vroom vroom…out of here Guys…Riding out at 0800…should be at Bike Week by around noon…Have a couple beer stops to make on way down with my friends.

  21. 21 JOKER 3 Mar 2nd, 2009 at 7:32 pm

Apparently all the positive comments on fatboy are what you believe but you don’t LIVE HERE AND GET IT RIGHT UP THE GAZOO FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR….CHECK AROUND YOU CAN DO BETTER AT ANYOTHER HARLEY DEALER THE HE DOESN’T HAVE HIS FINGERS INTO.. IF HE IS SO GOOD FOR THE HARLEY DEALERSHIP THEN WHY DOES HE STILL HAVE USED CAR LOTS ?? WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ??

  22. 22 Road12 Mar 4th, 2009 at 2:53 pm

Totally agree with you Joker 3… I used to live 7 miles from the dealership and you’re right… most of those comments are from people who are not from the area and have not seen all this outside a couple of great events in the Ormond Beach/Daytona area.
