Billy Lane Plea Delayed One More Week

blaneThe plea hearing of this Wednesday morning at 8.45 am ended up with the Judge giving Billy Lane’s attorneys and the State prosecutor at least 1 more week to iron out the details of the written version of the verbal agreement. Attorneys will notify the court of their progress during a docket hearing set for 9 a.m. April 14, and possibly enter the plea that day. If not, the case will be set for trial.

The two parties are trying to come to an agreement on mitigating facts that the defense believes applies to Billy’s case. “Mitigators” are, in legalese, facts related to the defendant’s background that might entitle him or her to have sentencing guidelines lowered (photo Florida Today).

And the saga continues, the longer you wait, the longer it takes.

Money can’t save ya now Billy

    WOW bobberiz,
You seem to be a very judgemental human being, who doesn’t know the first thing about being Billy. You know what you know like anyone else who isn’t a family member or friend of his…and nothing else. Judgemental people are usually unhappy people and it makes them feel better about themselves. So, instead of people being angered by your judgements they should instead feel sorry for you. Hopefully you will see how it isn’t productive to judge others…as you should be judgeing yourself and your own behavior.
Did you ever think that maybe Billy is carrying the emotional weight of knowing that he is responsible for a man’s death? That is something a person has to carry with them for the rest of their lives and believe me…he does have a conscience.

Lick balls bobberiz. Go ahead and tell me you’ve never driven after drinking and I’ll go ahead and tell you you’re a liar.

Good comments from Starlight & Triumph. The ones who are making judgments against Billy are jealous losers who want others to be as miserable as they are.

Dar Tan Superman. Who told you that Billy Lane was the victim? (although he is now the victim of his own mstake). Your offensive language is typical of people who have no argument. They insult but advance no idea. Your username is quite ridiculous. With such a stupid name, not surprised you write the way you write.

see, this is why we pay taxes and have a judicial system: so the people who are trained and impartial ca decide. Now we don’t have to argue about it, and the lawyers and judge can do their job.

    DTS,
What are you convicting Billy Lane of doing? Based upon hearsay, or law, or what?

I agree with Starlight, and I applaud you. very well said.

Dark Man Superman, wow I feel sorry for you, you seem to be a very angry, bitter person. They medication for that now. No one said Billy was a victim, and what Triumph said I have been saying forever. We have all gotten behind the wheel or on that bike after a few drinks and rode home.. and I am sure you are one of those people we all have…
If you don’t personally don’t know the man,(Billy) Dark man, you should just sit and read these blogs about Billy instead of commenting on Some one and something you have no idea about… (Really look into those meds) Hope you’re feeling better soon!
