This program allows customers to order a motorcycle through one of the Indian dealerships and pick it up at the factory. Factory Delivery includes a personal VIP tour of the plant and bike delivery in the customer delivery area. During the tour, a member of the staff guides and explains to participants each step of the bike building process. Beginning in engine assembly and ending on the vehicle build line, new buyers get to observe Indian crews at work. Also visit the gorgeous Indian Flagship Store down the road (also, great restaurants around, ask Melissa). All 2009 Indian Chief models are eligible for this delivery program. Indian factory and headquarters are located in Kings Mountain, just west of Charlotte N.C. Indian Motorcycle Factory Delivery.

Indian® brings you right into the family. Not a bad idea at all.
It still ain’t a real Indian
Rodent tell us why. What is a real Indian.
Some guys said over half a decade ago that when Indian quit making sleek bikes and started skirted fenders in 1940 that they quit making Indians and started making Harleys. I guess it all depends on what level of purest you are?
Knucklehead , A real “Indian” is the guy saying: “All you illegals go home ! except that Hot blond in the corner” . LOL
Real Original Brand Indians are Flatheads except for the OHV racer versions. Ace 4 cylinder version Indians and 841 Military shaft drive opposed not withstanding. Not wanting to forget the little “O” and “K” versions in late teens and the initial Hendee and Hedstrom IOE versions that started it in the beginning.
Kiwi and Stark are builders/restorors of modernized 30’s , 40’s, and 50’s style Flathead real/replica original Indians and the guy in Europe that retained the 4 cylinder patent rights as well, With a small cottage industry of parts makers for same. Pretty neat old rides that roll down the modern highways or maybe should say rock and roll. Keep them living. Retro at its best.
The newest run of Indian as well as the failed CMC, etc., etc. are all Indian Branded modern Motorcycles. Not apples to apples.
