The Big Mountain Run location is off the beaten path, a very laid back Tennessee setting. It will start with a two day Gypsy tour of the Smokey Mountains including a visit to the “Wheels Through Time Museum”, and a run on both the Dragon (US129) and the Cherohola Skyway. The run will end at the Hiwassee Outfitter’s Campground for two more days of good ol’ fashion bike party events, all in the setting of the Smokey Mountains.
Some of the best music acts of the new generation will be there. Like Nine Pound Hammer, Crank County Daredevils and several other supporting acts, Other activities include Paintball Wars , The Lucky Daredevil Thrill Show some other killer new events like the Tramps Triathlon, and the worlds first ever Mini TT race that will see mini bike warriors compete in Flat Track type TT races, (with a jump). Cycle Source Magazine, Builders and Parts Manufacturers of the Limpnickie Lot will be there too. All details at Big Mountain Run.
Just got back from a couple days down there. Did many runs on the Dragon and Cherohola Skyway. What a freaking blast. Gotta be one of the best places in the USA to ride, hands down. Just avoid The Dragon during the middle of the day and weekends (its too crowded). I was there mid-week, early in the morning and late in the evening…. I pretty much had the 11 mile / 318 curve stretch of road all to myself. Incredible couple of days for me.
i am flying out with some friends from here in england (and others from New England) to ride this area next week – cant wait.
I am hoping to make this run as I like the area and the guys and gals from Limpnickie are always enjoyable to be with.
It promises to be a good time
See Ya There
