Heaven is where the police is British, the Chefs Italian, the Mechanics German, the Lovers French and it is all organized by the Swiss.
Hell is where Police is German, the chefs British, the Mechanics French, the Lovers Swiss, and it is all organized by the Italians.
Very funny T Shirt Cryil!. Where can I get one?
Knuckle & Panhead Heaven
I like the T-shirts. We saw one in Florence, Italy that said:
“I’d rather be run over by a lawnmower than sell my Bike”

As of today, I have outgrown the http://hydra-glide.com/ site I rode in on. 🙂
That site in the Netherlands is the best, most active one, for Knuckle & Pans & Flatheads on the planet (the S&S Flatheadpower Tech Talk site has been on low-heat since March, 2006), but, on Hydra-Glide.com/ there is some confusion as to how to deal with parts from V-Twin®. Items of importance like, replica frames, fitment, and a handful of other mistakes than can be corrected without too much effort, if you know what action to take and who to call, are being dealt with by “repair by committee” solutions (i.e; the people who make comments are well meaning, but wrong, and if you try and correct them, it becomes a battle of non-qualified opinions, and the guy with the problem is sitting on the sidelines wondering, “What-tha-heck?”
The information bottleneck that has developed with me, is that I have been dealing directly with V-Twin®, sometimes inter-office, since 1993. My direct information to persons with problems on Hydra-Glide.com/ gets diluted by well-meaning meddlers, that don’t actually own a Knuckle or Panhead, and the “fits-all” universal “motorcycle theory” about specific-to-deal-with problems, is sending people deeper and deeper into the swamp.
V-Twin® has someone that tracks every post I make on the internet. I have received one “cease and desist” notice from V-Twin® in 16 yrs. That was a request to have Panhead (the site owner) remove a “1949-1959” fork cup topic I posted from the “Knowledge Base”. Noted and done. I received a “thank you for your cooperation” from V-Twin®.
In summary, Stett (4th level MMI (Harley-Davidson University) trained tech http://stettsironhorseranch,com. and myself have the “technical links necessary” to connect the dots between the reclusive V-Twin Manufacturing®, and the customer with a parts problem, but we can’t continue unless we have a dedicated website devoted to “OEM and Replica V-Twin® Knuckle & Panhead” motorcycles. Too many unqualified opinions on repop parts dilutes the effectiveness of getting Big Twins back on the road.

Je confirme pour les ” French Lovers ” ! ! ! !
For a biker, hell is California
Wrong! Hell is Florida for Bikers who Ride!
I agree with bigalyts. I live in California and we have (in my opinion) some of the best places to ride..where else can you go to the beach, the desert, the snow/mountains, city and country roads all in one day and all on one road??
Florida seems to be un-biker friendly anymore. California is just hell (Schwartzenegger) otherwise..taxes, fees, fines, smog, etc. But we all knew that.
