Shotgunshock Air Ride

shotgunshock

During the last 10 years, the number of available air shocks has grown exponentially. Most are extremely good. So, what’s new with the “Shotgunshock“?
The company producing it states that their proprietary system has an internal valving with four internal solenoids machined into the body of the shock. A check valve seals the pressurized air supplied by the onboard compressor, then the four solenoids are used to adjust both height and rebound. Hence a more progressive and comfortable ride. Available for Dyna, Softail Evo, Softail Twin Cam, Fl’s models. Shotgunshocks or call 323-359-4914.

Thanks for the mention, your blog is awsome. The shotgunshock for softails has been on the market for four years now. The picture shows our new shock and in addition to the applications you mentioned, also fits all the baggers, roead king, street glide and the other fl touring models.

It looks like something I would be interested in doing a tech article on.

We are happy to inform you that shotgunshock has been granted a patent by the US Patent office. The internal valving is proprietary to our air shocks and the Patent office agrees with our claim that the technology is unique. Our shocks have four internal valve that allow the user to adjust the suspension by adding or releasing air from eithier side of the piston. Also the air is sealed in the shock as the air goes in through a check valve. Now we are working on digital controls for our shocks and our internal valving is the best system for digital controls.
