The objective of the Ride To Work Day (always the 3rd Wenesday of June) is to demonstrate that riding is an efficient, economical form of personal transportation making parking easier and helping traffic flow better. 2009 is the18th edition of this event and each year it involves riders of all ages and occupations, from all walks of life, riding any brand of motorcycles and scooters. On Ride To Work Day, the practical side of riding becomes more visible as a larger number of America’s 8 million cycles are ridden to work. Nice to hear such a nice and supportive speech from a Representative (D).
I ride to work every day. It has to be raining pretty hard to keep me off my bike. About 50 mpg and I smile all the way. I highly recommend it. It’s good medicine. This year is my personel best at just over 20,000 miles in 12 months.
Get out that bike and ride.

I believe that any veteran of any branch of the service will tell you that they were in service of the citizens of our country. As such they might tell you that they may not agree with what you say but fought to defend your right to say it. Not once have I ever heard that they defended the right of a corporation to dictate what you can say and what you can’t.
Ride everyday like your life depends on it .
My motorcycle is my best friend and therapist . Returned last Monday to San Jose after a 7 week road trip , 103 hours on an hour meter with a little over 6,000 trouble free miles .
Hauled ass Friday morning , destination Red Wood Run near Piercy, Ca., returned Sun afternoon . A good time was had by all .
Go for a ride everyday and enjoy life .
