Harley-Davidson is recalling a total of 11,005 motorcycles..The models concerned are: 2008-2009 FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones, 2008 FXSTSSE2 Screamin’ Eagle Softails, and 2009 FXSTSSE3 CVO Softail Springers. There is a defect with a acorn stud at the brake reaction link and the stud could fall out, with for possible consequence that the front brake/front fender assembly could get disassembled. Dealers have been instructed to replace the existing acorn stud with a new stud and retaining clip. Owners may contact the Factory at 414-343-405
