Utah Biggest Motorcycle Event

RideTimpanogosMtns1RideTimpanogosMtns2This Sunday August 16 is Utah’s biggest motorcycle event, the annual “Ride 4 Fallen Officers” organised by Dave Tuomisto, owner of Timpanogos Harley-Davidson in Lindon, Utah, Last year ride attracted some 170 law enforcement officers on their motorcycles and 2500 bikers, parading from the impressive Timpanogos HD Shop (75 % recycled from the ruins of Geneva Steel) to the State Capitol in Salt Lake City.

This year crowd is expected to be even bigger! The 2008 event raised $42,000 dollars, bringing the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial nearly to it’s fundraising goal. The 1-day-event is something for early birds“ as “sing-in” starts at 7 a.m.. Departure of the parade will be at 10.00 a.m.. Don’t miss the chance to check out this extraordinary HD-Dealership, and after the reception ceremony at Salt Lake City there is enough time to take a scenic ride through the Timpanogos mountainside (pictures Horst Rosler).

    Nice!

All Law Enforcement Memorials are a Great cause to support.

More of the biker brotherhood should sponsor and participate in such events.
