Cyril Huze Blog 3rd Anniversary

chocolatekeyboardIf I can remember very well feeling a little bit nervous when writing and uploading my 1st post on September 27th, 2006, I can’t remember the last time I wanted to eat a computer keyboard this badly! For my 3rd Anniversary as the geekiest guy on the custom motorcycle scene, nothing better tastier than receiving this keyboard made of crackers, marshmallows and chocolate. And I think I deserve it somewhat after blogging without interruption during 1095 days, writing 6771 articles, cropping/uploading 9698 pictures and reading your 47,678 comments! (no, I don’t count. Numbers appear automatically in my Blog back-end administration)

Sorry I can’t share a piece with you my readers and all my industry friends for helping me make this Blog the unchallenged “World’s #1 Daily Source For Custom Motorcycles News”. My gratitude to all vendors, manufacturers, distributors, custom builders, reporters, photographers and custom motorcycle fans around the world for participating on a daily basis, sending good tips and pictures, and in doing so helping the industry and the sport we love so much.

And of course a big thank you to my 2009 Sponsors. Accel/Prestolite, 360 Brake, Custom Chrome Inc, Darwin Motorcycles/Brass Ball Bobbers, Fix My Hog DVD’s, Indian Motorcycles, Outback Leaher, Pro-One, Rocky Top Leather, Rolling Thunder Frames, Santiago Chopper, S&S Cycle, Spectro Oils, UShip.

Congrats Cyril and to those that support your effort behind the scenes. The topic leading and most informative motorcycle info site on the web, a great venue for your sponsors and those that advertise thru hot buttons ads and links from their comment namesake; the coverage/reach/exposure has to be tremendous and is continuous. A truly living site that has/is always evolving on the plus side. Very Reader Friendly.

Keep it up. Enjoy the keyboard cracker treat.

Thanks for letting us mooch info off this site for Free. (A price we can all live with). 🙂

I like the fact that nobody slams each other to much. Work (spreading the information) seems to get done here, and the shy people, like myself, can express the lack of replica 1936-1960 fuel tanks and the fact that men’s m/c clothing styles are severely lacking at all levels, and that mens WorkWear world-wide is in a catastrophic tailspin in need of an immediate “make-over”.

As long as we can url-link from our posts, to other sites relating to the subject matter of our post, and strategically place trolls post’s in a position that their ignorance is compared to rational responses, then imo, this site will grow exponentially (cubically).

On this 3rd, I plan to change my course away from complaining about 3.5 tanks and m/c threads, to painting the tin on my ’57 Pan and getting back to promoting the sport of (FX shifter cam) ratchet top, jockey shifting – and filming an “axle-cam” view of putting “blackie” through the paces of digging and un-weighting through banked asphalt canyon roads.

Fun site here. Thanks Cyril and Sandra. 🙂

In many ways you re-invented the motorcycle news. Faster, more accurate, reliable, credible, distributed worldwide. Let’s not forget the fact that you are always the first to break the big news of the industry. It’s my daily read at breakfast on the kitchen table. Keep up your great work. Best.

  9. 9 Brandon Sep 27th, 2009 at 11:39 am

Many vendors and the industry owe you a lot for promoting all these companies. Especially in these difficult times. It’s your day. Enjoy the cake and take the day off. We can wait tomorrow morning for more news.
