“Howdy Cyril, just got back from the Air Races, always a rush if you like large horsepower displays. I debuted a huge painting of the Goodyear F2G, a Super Corsair. The only one flying in the world, originally designed to out-climb the Kamikaze before he could dive. It sports the largest piston engine ever developed with 28 cylinders (4 banks of 7) for around 4600 hp. This is the plane as it raced its last competition in 1949 in Cleveland, against a p51, spitfire and then a p38 lightning. It will go into the museum next to the plane itself in Chandler Az. I will do a small edition of several sizes, being the original is nearly six Ft across. As usual Greg is taking orders at 303 913 4840”. David Uhl, Uhl Studios.

Both F-4U Corsair and P-51 Mustang look great! I feel like I’m in the air with them looking over my left shoulder and anticipating what to do to stay ahead. It makes me want to get back in the air. You have it painted perfectly!
