growing up 20 minutes from springfield i can attest to the indian legacy that still has a strong following in that area of new england…once a year they used to open up the indian factory and have a bike show and cookout..it was always well attended. celebrity racers maxi baer, whitey anderson former indian factory racers always attended, it was always awesome to walk through the old factory musuem it was musty and dusty and only open that day once a year, but i would never miss it. now with this new building downtown maybe more people will be exposed to the history of motorcycles and who knows maybe some more will be converted to motorcyclist.just a very posistive thing…and if someone has an extra million around i wouldnt mind starting my own museum in florida..(joking, i would just take the money and go racing)

I can’t wait to see that 1899 Rolls Royce, considering that Rolls Royce began building cars in 1906 in England and the first Springfield Rolls was in 1921.
