Harley-Davidson Art Of Rebellion Exhibition

artoftherebelliongoodartoftherebelliongoodbisWant to manage and positively enrich the content of the rebellious image of the Harley-Davidson biker? All marketing people will tell you. It’s easy. Organize an art exhibition tour mixing  a display of your gas tanks wildly painted by rock poster artists with some of your “rebel” motorcycles.

For gas tank canvas and rebellious bike spirit, nothing better than the Dark Series Iron 883. I am telling you, image is everything. After a first stop in Santa Monica, CA the second installment of Art Of Rebellion is visiting NYC on October 17th. The poster art pictures, the painted gas tanks, the photography of Adam Wright and Steve Stone are superb. For me, the heroes of this exhibition are these artists who continue, without inhibition, to bring fresh perspectives on many topics of our times. So, they deserve to be named. Art Chantry, Brian Ewing, Derek Hess, Dirty Donny, Frank Kozik, Harpoon, John Van Hamersveld, Lindsey Kuhn, Tara McPherson and The Pizz.  A portion of the proceeds go to the CUE Art Foundation. If in New York City, stop by from 8pm to midnight in Chelsea, building La Venue 608 West 28th Street, New-York, NY 212-967-9636. Anyone there to pickup for me an exhibition poster for my collection?

how can something put on by motorcycling biggest corporate suits be called “rebellion”. Should be called “Art of becoming a Poser”.
To be clear, the art is cool, no doubt about it, but the fact that HD is putting it on leaves a bad taste in my mouth….The only art most harley buyers want is one more do-rag with the harley logo on it.
