You wondered, you guessed, you commented. How a celebrity with a long time addiction to motorcycles associated to a well known builder would introduce themselves to our custom culture world. Some of you knew a little bit because they got a chance to meet the team Lorenzo Lamas and Eddie Trotta during the last Sturgis and Daytona Biketoberfest. At least, you saw the very 1st limited edition model called “Icon” here in my Blog.
As they promised to you, a line of apparel, accessories, jewelry was in preparation with for objectives to make you look and feel good when you ride or at the bar . Got a confidential preview and a chance to comment myself a few weeks ago. And now the D Day for Lorenzo Cycles. The team online website and secure webstore just opened its digital doors at 6 PM California time. You are invited to browse, to shop and to comment knowing that like all stores preparing for the holidays new stuff will be added on the shelves and that a new limited edition custom bagger model (can’t reveal more) will soon welcome you at the door. Lorenzo Cycles.
What is next, Lorenzo Lamas bottled water, Lorenzo Lamas perfume?
Most bike builders try building a few bikes before trying to cash in on the name with merchandising. You know: build up the cool factor, get a little respect from the target demographic, create a little exclusivity, make people want to be associated with your name. Someone here seems to have gotten a little confused.
Good luck to Lorenzo and company, don’t get me wrong. I wish him the best trying to fast track cash in on perhaps the most depressed part of the US economy at the moment.
Oh, what was that? * Fluke turns to a voice over her shoulder* “the target market for that stuff isn’t bike riders ! ” Nah never she thinks, otherwise it wouldn’t be on this fine custom bike blog.
Ditto (Fluke)
They’re just following the lead of the revived Exclesior-Henderson who had a huge line of clothing and collectibles before even one bike rolled down the ill-fated production line. Oops, maybe that’s not such a good lead to follow …
Fluke…well said. If Lorenzo would pay attention to this blog, he’d know to slow down and approach it gingerly, giving folks the time to realize he may not actually be the knob we’ve all perceived…instead he jumps into the reality show, exploits himself and the industry, and now he promotes Lorenzowear.
Didn’t we already go through this phase with Von Dutch? At least Dutch wasn’t a douche…just everybody exploiting him wore the Von Douche name.
Some people are simply jealous that celebrities with more money than they will ever make could make more money selling motorcycle clothing to their fans. The market decides, not you.
Support anyone investing in the motorcycle industry. It’s your interest.
Leave Mr. Lamas alone. He does his part. Wishing success to all those invested in and loving the motorcycle industry. BTW, I like his tees and jewelry.
Cyril. When will you show us this Lamas/Trotta new bagger?
Open your mind, every man should be free, isn´t it. I belive a few years the bikers world is someway
diferent, but now i realise I´m wrong. If one do something it´s because he can.If people don´t like
simple don´t buy.Ride hard in a free world.
I agree with Joey

lorenzo cycles ….flat line————————————————————————————
Good luck to Trotta/Lamas, I don’t know why everyone is bashing these guys so much… they aren’t trying to sell bikes to us (builders), they know we can build our own. They’re trying to sell to people out there that still have money that want to buy a high end bike (and goodies) with some name recognition.
I hope they sell a bunch of ’em, it won’t hurt me any, or anybody doing all the griping either, for that matter. No need for sour grapes attitude.
Hey man its your money time and passion keep working hard good luck.
