Keino Cycles “Peace & Quiet” Little Chopper

keinopeaceandquietgoodkeinopeaceandquiet2keinopeaceandquiet3If you have the talent any bike can look extremely good with the proper custom treatment. Like this 1973 Harley FX using a Keino Cycles frame (34-degree rake, 3-up), hand fabricated custom gas and oil tanks with the power plant being the original Milwaukee engine boosted to 93″ (Andrews B Cam & S&S E Carb) and featuring a front Pan and rear Shovel rocker box (an Indian Larry favorite engine look).

Shifting is via a 6 in 4 Baker transmission rolling a 2″ BDL belt drive. This rigid retro looking Chop is handled via a Showa narrow glide front end and Keino real Mc Coy handlebars held by brass risers. It rolls on black spoke wheels (21″ front & 16″ rear) equipped with PM brakes. Paint job by “High & Tight”. To have called this light and agile Chopper “Peace & Quiet” Keino (Sasaki) must have a sense of humor I didn’t know until today. Keino Cycles (HRF Photography).

Generally speaking, this is the kind of bike I don’t like that much, but this one is just perfect, and I totally adore the paint.

    Well done.

Nice Bike , but I dont like and never have cared for two different rocker boxes. It looks to me like you cant really make up your mind if you want a Pan or a Shovel motor!!

I absolutely love the gas tanks that Keino pounds out, so full of interesting shapes and curves, real sculptures in metal. Well done!!
