Wilwood is a high performance brake calipers and rotors company whose products were originally designed for race and off-road use and now successfully transitioned its braking equipment to street use. All Wilwood products work great, look very good, both reasons why you see them more and more on many custom bikes.

The Wilwood GP-Series  motorcycle calipers have been specifically designed and engineered for use on Harley Davidson® and American V-Twin models. Direct leg-mounting front calipers are available for all single and dual disk applications (except Springer and 4-speed models). Rear calipers and brackets are available for Softail®, Dyna, and Touring models. Or if you prefer and use a chain pick a sprocket brake assembly. Available in polish, chrome or black.     I used to run Wilwood brakes on My VW bug drag racer 20 odd years ago, they were the go to brake people then. Quality was simply awesome.

    I thought Wilwood had been making HD brakes at least that length of time, yet you hardly ever see a bike with them on.

    I remember John Covington of Surgical Steeds using these brakes as far back as 1999. I had never seen them on a bike before then. Cyril did a great story on him awhile back , on his new endeavors.

    I didn’t know that wilwood was making brakes for bikes too. The truth is that they look pretty good, and if they work properly for sure they will succeed.
