Sick bars Taber and crew. Might have to put them on our new Brawler!
Nash makes nice parts. These bars are no exception.
Haven’t quite worked out how they can charge more for cool copper bars than chrome! Last time I had anything plated the copper coating was under the chrome!
Problem with copper plating is that it tarnishes almost instantly… so while it is true that copper plating is the first step in the “triple plate” process, it is more work to copper plate, remove from the tanks, clean it, polish it, then quickly laquer it before it tarnishes.
Also, usually the copper is laid on thick and buffed to remove imperfections in the base metal so that the chrome is perfect. But if the chrome is the final step, it requires more prep work on the base metal, usually.
These guys make some tastey scooters……they’ve set themselves apart from alot of other folks.
