Desktop V-Twin Engine

desktopvtwin
A V-Twin engine running on your desk? Why not. Sure to impress your visitors at the office. No risk to attract the attention of EPA or CARB. This one runs using butane and a full load of it will make it run during 10 minutes during which time I promise you will not be able to accomplish any desk tasks

It is stated to be balanced to keep the vibrations to a minimum and the noise it produces is no louder than a blender! Not running it’s a beautiful piece conceived by a German engineering company, built using 2 x 1 1/2 cc cylinders and stainless steel exhaust system.

Solid brass flywheel, magneto sending an electric signal to the 2 spark plugs igniting the butane…In action, you get the chance to be hypnotized just by looking at the movements of the valve rods, crossheads and crankshafts.  To use in a ventilated room…Weighting 5.2 lb. Size 7″ L x 5″ W x 9″ H. Expected shipping date is April 12, 2010. But it will set you back $1000. At Hammacher Schlemmer.

This is too cool! By adding a small leather belt & an old pencil sharpener, this would be very useful & could possible be considered a tax write off as a new tool.

    Awesome! I want one too!
    Many possibilities. Hmmmm.
Think I might hook it up to the door bell some how. Shop gets loud. I can see a small compressor with air horns.

Install it in a Barbie tricycle, hook up a belt drive to the flywheel, my spoiled pet hamster will love it!

Great for powering adult toys as well…. 🙂
