Dirico Motorcycles Building 3 Steven Tyler ‘Dream On’ Pro-Street Motorcycles For Ohio Lottery.

StevenTylerDirico Motorcycles (formely Red Wing Motorcycles) whose motto is “We build bikes screaming louder than Steven Tyler”, was chosen by the Ohio lottery to build 3 pro-street style custom motorcycles. To make the bikes more “desirable” each of these bikes will be signed by Steven tyler and each member of the Aerosmith rock band.

The tech sheet reads as follow: Screamin’ Eagle 103 cubic-inch Twin Cam B, Baker RSD 6-speed transmission. Rowe Machine frame, 21″ front and 240mm rear wheel. Dirico Motorcycles already contributed 2 bikes to the New-Hampshire lottery and will do same with the State of Colorado lottery.

Dirico Motorcycles is partly owned by Steven Tyler (real name Steven Victor Tallarico) with Mark Dirico as partner.

“We build bikes screaming louder than Steven Tyler”

    Hmmm…

It must be a pretty tough work environment with a bunch of guys screaming as loud as they can as they build bikes. Does the screaming add to the appeal of the bike?

I wonder if the people involved in the production of these bikes will pay their suppliers this time around?

Also, wasn’t this company called something else before?

And also (again), wasn’t Manchester (NH) Harley the “official” seller of these bikes? I don’t think this little project worked out. Motorcycles with celebrity names attached aren’t desirable.

If you believe what you read online and in the post it might be a little awkward to be asking Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer to sign the bike as promised….. That might be up in the air… Maybe Steven can sign all the names himself…. LOL

BadMonkeyMW: That was funny… sad, but true
Don’t ya think after 70 you can go up and sing and hang out with out getting F’ed up? 😉

You won’t see those “toys in the Attic”

These are a great way to get “Back in the Saddle”

I think when people go this shop to see the bikes they should “Come Together”

Keep us posted because “I don’t want to miss a thing”

Some people might feel that these bikes look like the “Same old song and dance”

I hope these bikes are reliable because no one likes “walking the dog”

Steven Tyler is born in March 1948. So, he can’t be over 70.

Look at Tyler sitting on the Bike, cause he couldn’t stand long enough to take the Picture, before He noods off. Tyler’s Motto is “Rehab is for Quitters” !

Forgot 1 thing, Tyler can still Financially Build as many Bikes as His attention span. He will get bored with His new Buddy’s as well.

Why in the world would anyone care or want one of these atrocities???

  11. 11 Rogue Feb 19th, 2010 at 8:28 am

I have already made comments about Tyler and his actions in Sturgis 2009 when they happened.
I think he is a joke and just another celebrity (?) trying to keep his name in print by trying to be involved in motorcycling.
To be fair I do not know any thing about his partner and or those building the motorcycle But it sure does not do the motorcycle any good by having Tyler with it.
Of course there are those who will say See how cool I am, I have a Steven Tyler bike. Then when you ask them what kind of engine and or other parts they have they will not have a clue.
There will alsways be people like that in the world of motorcycling and then there will be real motorcyclist and bikers.

Rogue, you said it all very well, and i agree with you. But on the other hand, I do dig his daughter Liv.

Guys, can somebody help me out here? Because for the life of my I can’t remember who gives a s*** about Steven Tyler…

    Thanks.

In many instances I agree with the posts above, but his attempt at being involved in the industry is putting a few dollars into several manufactures. That is something everyone can use, like it or not. I am sure if he called wanting to buy a few parts from you, I would hope that you take his money.

I have a 2007 street glide that jams, If I was to win a Dirico- I think I would have to put the street glide in the attic.

i dont know why everyone is hating on steven tyler… the guy is a rock legend and has a passion for motorcycles. last time i checked, thats what riding bikes is all about. everyone in life makes mistakes including everyone on this page so when you guys have a perfect and clean past then you have the right to judge someone else. if you had half the drive and passion that he does you might be a millionare as well… just buy a bike and ride it. stop hating on everyone else…

  20. 20 Tasha Aug 28th, 2010 at 1:33 pm
