Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America Launches A New Website

The North America division of the English based company Avon Tyres, just launched a new motorcycle website. It offers company news, technical information and more including the latest on motorcycle events and contests, featured builders, featured riders and testimonials in a clean, user-friendly design. The site has been optimized for a variety of browser platforms making it simple to access and use by both the Mac and the PC user.
One of the best new features is expanded product information found found at Avon Products. In it, all Avon tires information is organized by product category like ultra-high performance, high performance, sport touring, adventure sport, cruiser/touring, cruiser/touring/custom, street performance, classic, and even scooter applications. In each section, Avon tire options are displayed with links to more detailed product information including recommended applications, features and benefits, and comprehensive data sheets available for download.
“We have tried to preserve all of the best elements of the two former Avon web sites into one user-friendly site,” said Sukoshi Fahey, Sales & Marketing Manager, Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America. “We also wanted to inject some fun into the site, so we’ve included new sections for featured riders and builders. We want this to be a site that is interactive and easy to use for everyone from consumers to tire dealers to the media, and we hope we’ve accomplished that with this new site.” Avon Motorcycles.

Not a better tire on the market … in my humble opinion!

I like Avon tyres too, I just wish they would increase the range they do with white walls to include some larger custom fitment sizes rather than just OE sizes. 120 by 21 and 180 by 18 would be a great start.

….Avon brings nice tires but their international presense is missing. On the other hand,Michelin, bridgestone even Metzler are on the scene from long time.
No doubt about the quality but they should consider expanding into other markets as well.

Yea a bigger line of white walls would be welcome with everybody and his brother building “old school” styled bike these days.
