Rush Racing Products just released an all new 2 into 1 complete exhaust system for Harley Davidson® Dressers and Road Kings. The company states that Dynamometer reports show that this system is building a significant increases in low and mid range torque and adding to top end horsepower.
Marketing Manager Nick Trumbo adds that only Rush is offering ceramic coating both inside and outside the exhaust pipe to keep pipes at a lower temperature. This 2 into 1 system is constructed from heavy duty 16 gauge steel which has 30% more steel than 18 gauge used by other manufacturers. Thicker steel means longer life and better throaty sound. The spiral louver packed baffle contributes to the sound and additional power. Sold with heat shields to cover the head pipe and collector and installation hardware.. How many 2 into 1 on the market? Time for something new.
If you are into performance, 2 into 1’s are the only way to go. There are tons of pipes 2 into 1’s on the market, I should know, I used to work with one of the big exhaust companies.
However, if it is about performance, D&D really has it down. I personally don’t think you can beat their headers for torque and horsepower. Look at the VTwins on the salt and you are going to see a sea of D&D’s.
If you think I am wrong, just for fun, go to Burns stainless’ website. there is a caluclator that will tell you the lenght and dimensions of pipe you should use in a header for different cams, compression, displacement, spark advance and more. Check it out and then go look at D&D.
