Robbie Maddison Jumps Motorcycle Over 279-Foot Wide Canal

Last year the Australian freestyle motocross star performed a back-flip over the Thames River in London using an open Tower Bridge drawbridge as a launching and landing platform. The year before Maddison leaped upward 100 feet onto the Arc de Triumph in front of the Las Vegas Paris hotel. Thursday in Greece Robbie cleared the 279-foot-wide Corinth Canal while soaring 300 feet above the canal’s surface. Watch.

This stunt is incredible looking, but that jump he made in Vegas was truly a jaw dropper… especially when he jumped back down.
Very talented guy, and brass balls for sure.

Easily the greatest big stunt rider in the world today. Travis Pastrana doing the double back flip at the X Games a few years ago is the only thing that comes close.
