Yes, a motorcycle (with the exception of touring bikes) always looks better with a solo seat and no passenger pegs. But there are some people we want to give a ride to (or feel obliged to!)
Resolving the issue of keeping a pretty bike without compromising your very important social life, here come the hide-away pegs
You see them, you no more see them. These pegs slide out when your company accepts the lift, lock and stay in position for sturdy support during the ride, and retract when you ride solo again.
A clean and very useful part that you can bolt on any frame equipped with a cross seat support bar. Peg diameter is 1″, 10″ 3/4 when retracted, 18″ extended. .
$195.00 the set. For sale online at Gravesend Cycles.
Cool.
Now thats cool, and I always say….”crap I should’ve thought of that”…….
take a woman for a ride on your bike ? That’s not what custom bike building is all about ………………..
Viper motorcycles has the coolest hideaway rear pegs. Folds away UNDER the rear fender.
I feel like RUB,did you miss the SOLO part?
Martin, same idea with Viper. Ride solo, flip the pegs out and give her a lift. Of course you may want to be thoughtful a slide your jacket under her butt.
It’s the only way to be able to buy a 2nd Bike, when you’re shackled! Very Kool!
NA !
I own more than one bike. I have a few that have a seat for the passenger and also pegs. My solo bike has no passesner anything because it has no seat for one. I built it that way and I like how it looks that way. These pege would look clean on the bikes that do carry passengers though.
Now I have to do another build just so I can have these. The wife will understand.
Good idea, keeps the bike clean and usefull wen necesary.
Not on my custom pro street!
