Lorenzo Lamas Cycles And Pegram Racing Ducati To Launch Premium Sport Bikes And Products

Lorenzo Lamas Cycles, the lifestyle brand founded by international celebrity and motorsports enthusiast, Lorenzo Lamas. and Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing Ducati today announced a strategic partnership to develop and release signature custom motorcycles and aftermarket performance parts, apparel and other premium products to premium sportbike collectors and enthusiasts.

According to Lorenzo Cycles founder, Lorenzo Lamas, “There’s no doubt that Larry Pegram has proven his strength and commitment as owner/rider for his own Ducati superbike race program. This new relationship allows us to promote the same sense of freedom, expression and horsepower as we have with the Harley-Davidson and custom crowd to an audience that understands what also makes Ducati such a special machine.”

The partnership between Lamas and Pegram will officially launch with the unveiling of a signature customized Ducati 1198 Motorcycle at a private event July 20, 2010 at Beverly Hills Ducati in Beverly Hills, California. The event will serve as the market and media debut of a Lorenzo-Pegram Signature Ducati 1198 (estimated retail, $29,000) and be sponsored by exclusive Swiss watch designer and manufacturer, Jaeger-LeCoultre as well as Pegram Racing Ducati’s primary race sponsor, Foremost Insurance Group. Lorenzo Cycles’ custom Patron Gran Platinum Bike will also be on display and the motorcycle’s designer and builder, Ralph Randolph, will attend. Both motorcycles feature custom paintwork by Phoenix-based, Airea 5150, LLC.

About the Lorenzo-Pegram Signature Ducati 1198, Pegram claims, “This bike is as close to the track experience as a rider can get. We’ve taken what was already a world-class machine and incorporated new performance-enhancing products to produce a set-up that places this unique customized edition in a class all its own.”

I never read much more about his work with Eddie Trotta. Hope sales with that were successful, and now this future project will be as well.

Lamas is all over the place.

    First,choppers…….now, Ducati’s…………..what’s next……….skateboards?!

Stick to one thing…….learn it and do it well.

I guess he didn’t learn much from Trotta.

I like the idea. I mentioned in the Coke/Sturgis/Custom Chrome article – Partnering brands makes good sense in Marketing and Business. Lamas has the Celeb name and he can give creedance to this race ready builing group. I wish them luck.

Kyle – As a side note we will have Eddie Trotta on Hog Radio this Friday night and we will be asking him about his connection with Lamas. Show will be made available to hear next week.

Wasn’t Ralph Randolph the original builder he was supposed to debut with in Sturgis last year, than jumped to Trotta at the last minute when he (randolph) did not have a bike ready or something like that?

This is great static for the motorcycle industry – bring it on. We need more stimulation like this.

Huh? Is Lamas trying to get a piece of everyone’s action? I’m so confused about what that man is trying to do … IMO Larry Pegram’s credibility just went down a notch.

To clarify, Lorenzo Cycles has launched a new superbike program with Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing Ducati. Following the launch party at Beverly Hills Ducati, Lorenzo and company will support Larry Pegram at Laguna Seca the 23rd, 24th and 25th of August. The Lorenzo-Pegram Signature Ducati 1198 & the Patron Gran Platinum bike will return to the showroom of Beverly Hills Ducati.

Lorenzo Cycles will start the week at Sturgis on Monday with the Legends Ride to the Legendary Buffalo Chip. Lorenzo will spend the week riding a Lorenzo Cycles Badlander, built by Eddie Trotta. Sure, customized Harley’s are the new thing…but you’d be hard-pressed to find one that stands up to Eddie’s. We look forward to a great week of events and entertainment at the Chip. Dylan? Ozzie? Motley Crue? How could you go wrong?

Together with FFJournal, Lorenzo Cycles will host several events at the Garage Shop Fabricator Showcase at 3rd & Lazelle. Be sure to stop by and meet Lorenzo and check out the cool product displays for real builders. FFJournal & Lorenzo Cycles will also host the first LADY RIDER OF THE YEAR CONTEST, the only event that we know of that applauds girls who live to ride.

Gee this sure suprises me !!! How many custom choppers did they sell in this economy?? How many custom Ducati’s do you think they well sell with a co- branded name plate. But I guess people haven’t learn how to keep their money….All I have to say is “Hoka Hey”.

Lorenzo Cycles has never banked on selling motorcycles. If someone wants a bike like the ones we ride, we’ll hook them up. We’ve got a Chopper, a Bagger and now offer (with Larry Pegram) a high-performance street-legal superbike.

Our only goal this year is to go to the shows and races, have a great time and build our relationships with successful programs that enjoy doing the same things we do. We’ll also continue to introduce new leather, jewelry, footwear and eyewear products at our website as Lorenzo Cycles expands online into Spain, Germany and Italy.

“…Following the launch party at Beverly Hills Ducati, Lorenzo…”

Lots of launching and partying going on…
OK, but let’s see some bikes.
“New leather, jewelry, footwear and eyewear products” are not very interesting.

Listen Dood’s: This is to all you Non-Winners out there that are tyring to Judge all who are into putting their Name, Trademark or their Approval on a Custom or Privately created Product , mainly V-Twin Motorcycles without paying their DUES. There seem to be this THING with all you Wannabe Famous Motorcycle helper and Mechanics that believe that these Dues are not being Paid by the Lamas, and the Steven Tyler’s and the Paul Jr.’s of the V-TWIN MOTORCYCLE World and The 1% ‘ers of the World, are the more deserving of the fame because they want it more, or they know more, or they Ride more.or I know what it is……….they look like the Part more!!! Truth is it is why The Motorcycle Business is as “Pretty and Acceptabe” as it is, because of Guys like Paul Jr, Steve Tyler, Lorenzo Lamas and Brad Pitt’s etc Hey Schmuck; Dont knock those Guys, go find your Own Backers so you can have a Stable also…………

LL’s not an actor anymore, he’s an “international celebrity”?
I have to confess, I am not interested in Ducatis or any “sportbike”, nor am I interested in the people who are interested in them. Not what I come to this blog for.
