I’m definitely biased and so my opinion is certainly biased, but I think the kcosmodrive of Garage65 deserved at least 3rd place and here I stop. Anyway congratulations to all winners and losers.

    watched it live…. really cool!

the modified HD class…. how many bikes were in this class? Does anyone know? Just wondering.

  4. 4 Bud Aug 11th, 2010 at 5:38 pm

Never thought I’d say this about any Krugger bike but I’m not impressed at all. Anyone that knows the V-Rod will think the same. Obviously, the judges don’t.

  8. 8 baddad Aug 12th, 2010 at 2:56 am

It seems that European builders are far more innovative than American, they are not so obsessed with stereotypes. Congratulation Krugger!

bike looks good. its better than HD’s version of the vrod. i dont know if his version would sell better than the harley one, but it is a nice looking bike.

Krugger’s win was long overdue and couldn’t happen to a finer gentleman. Congratulations to all the participants for stepping into the world arena. Well deserved Freddie. U were always a champion in by books a long time ago.

  14. 14 Andre M Aug 12th, 2010 at 9:09 am

Way to go Fred. Some additional recognition. I always liked from the early start.

  15. 15 Laurent Roy Aug 12th, 2010 at 9:46 am

Some details about the bike characteristics (wich are really interesting !) would have been nice (my two cents)

Congrats to all the team ! Well deserved ! (both congrats and title of course !)

  17. 17 TBear Aug 12th, 2010 at 10:33 am

Sorry Freddy but Yuri Shif’s Ducati blew your bike away IMHO.
I loved it when I saw it in Moscow last April. Also big congrats to Sergi and crew at Fine Custom Mechanics. Love that Moscow bike.!!!

  18. 18 maroco Aug 12th, 2010 at 12:25 pm

Congrats to Mr.Krugger, and all other builders, that also build top bikes.
Not easy task to the jury i belive.

  19. 19 Steve The Producer Johann Aug 12th, 2010 at 2:42 pm

If there is one thing I have learned over the years is that until you have the opportunity to talk with the builder and examine each bike up close (photo’s don’t count)its too easy to miss what has gone into each build and thus you overlook all the small but important details that sets a winner apart from a next to winner.

One other thing: Fine bikes are like fine beer or fine art everyone has an opinion based upon their personal tastes. All to say it has to be hard to judge these bikes.

Great job to everyone who entered and the winner of course did a fine job.

  20. 20 Blue Aug 12th, 2010 at 2:43 pm

Don’t judge on a photo. When I first saw the bike on Sunday night, I thought ‘Yeah, it’s nice’. Then Freddie talked me through it – it’s pretty trick. It’s different. It’s cutting edge. It breaks boundaries. Isn’t that what custom building is supposed to be about? It was a tough show to judge.

  21. 21 1550tc Aug 13th, 2010 at 9:50 am

Without Rodger G, in the show it skinda of a ???? win.

  22. 22 Rollin Aug 13th, 2010 at 7:21 pm

Congratulations Dar on your 2nd and 4th place wins for Production Class!

  23. 23 Chopperhead Aug 14th, 2010 at 12:33 am

The whole AMD cirkus has lost its meaning, this was the worst world championchip ever. Pore quality on the bikes. I mean, 2 into 4 exausts and rear ends in th front end front ends in the rear, and transformer bikes. What kind of problems are they tyring to solve? And it is not worth calling a world chapionchip anymore in my eyes, over 20 participants from the states and just a few from the rest of the world. Why can the athletics fly around the world when the world championchips is in different countries, and bikers not? Thats not fair, do anyone know how much it costs to ship a bike across the world? I know…. And there is alot of cool bikes from a young generation that cant afford to kick the worlds ass.

  24. 24 K. Friend Aug 14th, 2010 at 1:10 am

Come on Chopperhead. I think there was 60 bikes from the US and about 20 from abroad. Not the opposite. You must not have been in Sturgis. Blah, blah, blah….

  25. 25 Chopperhead Aug 14th, 2010 at 1:46 am

Yes, the numbers was just to show the difference. And 60 versus 20 is even worse. And i have also competed in sturgis with good results! A world championship should go the world aorund…….

  26. 26 Ronnie Aug 15th, 2010 at 2:31 am

Congrats to Kiwi Mike and crew! The Board Tracker Rocks!

  27. 27 Jeremy Aug 16th, 2010 at 3:47 am

    Bravo Krugger. Great innovation.

  28. 28 NY Nick Aug 16th, 2010 at 11:30 am

First to Freddie it was good to see you and sit and talk, and of course congratulations.

Your peers who voted got it Right.

2nd and most importantly there are very few people who enter this contest year after year and have the technical skills and talent of Freddie Krugger.

He was due to WIN and should have, this was an engineering feat.

All the major sport bike players are working on the same concept

  29. 29 jack1340 Aug 16th, 2010 at 3:28 pm

    congrats my firiend. first class!

  30. 30 burnout Aug 17th, 2010 at 4:56 pm

Every bike (except that stock HD bagger) had something that caught my attention. A VERY good show. Freddy was EVERYWHERE! peace

  31. 31 frogman Aug 27th, 2010 at 12:35 pm

Congratulations to all, for putting in such an effort in this economy. It takes a lot of passion and dedication to build a new bike, every year and travel to Sturgis to show it off…and the overseas guys are even more deserving. Well done to all but special congrats to Freddy. We could not be happier to partner with our brakes with a finer and more creative gentleman !
