New Windshield For Harley-Davidson Road King Models

In Daytona, Klock Werks is debuting their new “Billboard Flare” Windshield conceived specifically for Harley Road King. Modeled after the original FLARE Windshield, the Billboard FLARE features the patented Klock Werks hips on the side and flip on the top.
The company states computer simulation combined with real world testing produced a windshield in one height that works for most riders.
Klock Werks is setup at Destination Daytona during Biketoberfest where they propose that you try it before you buy it, and offer free installation from today to Sunday

I’ve used FLARE windshields on various baggers including Road Glides and Ultras with great success. My current 2009 Street Glide has one also. They really do work and the stability they add to pre-2009 Harley-Davidson’s with their propensity to wobble at his speed is impressive. I haven’t yet tried the Billboard Flare but we have one for evaluation at HEAVY DUTY magazine which is soon to be fitted to the editor’s Road King.

I had an opportunity to meet Brian and have him personally give me the run down on this new and innovative product. Aside from Brian being a real down to earth and cool ass guy with an unassuming love for his customers, he is also kind of a mad scientist. Although his product may look similar to other products out there, it is very different. I noticed a lot less turbulance between me and the windshield and more stability. Its also quieter. One of his claims is that his product actually creates about 15 pounds of downforce versus creating a bit of lift like similar products. Based on personal experience and testimony from friends who also bought the product, I am a true believer. This product is great and in my humble opinion, stands alone. As the saying goes, often imitated but never duplicated. Great product Brian!!!!
