Fast Motorcycle Industry News

1- Jesse James West Coast Choppers. It took quite a few days to all People and Show Biz Gossip online magazines, including TMZ, to get confirmation that Jesse James is closing for good West Coast Choppers in Long Beach. As a matter of fact a few of them called me a couple of hours after I broke the news in my Blog on Saturday October 16, all asking me to disclose my source, which I refused. None of them is giving me credit for the scoop… Retaliation for refusing to talk? Now, I can also publish that Cisco Burger opened in April 2006 next to the Long Beach shop will remain open for business, that Jesse intends to open a new establishment in Austin, TX where he resides and works, and that he may beefing up a national Burger franchise. New jobs coming to your city… Don’t call me for my source if you don’t intend to give me some credit and send some traffic to my Blog.
2- Sturgis One Eyed Jack’s Saloon. As you remember, for reason of health, Ray Gold, owner of the well known bar on Main Street put his business for sale. During an auction, the highest bid was 9.2 million, but Peter Gold, Ray’s son, decided that it is not enough and that the family will not sell the famous bar at this price because it is worth at least 1 million more. Highest bid came from Louis Bruer, owner of the No Name Campground in Sturgis,

3- Sucker Punch Sally.
Those in the motorcycle industry will be interested in knowing that Rise Above Consulting, a marketing and PR agency, is parting ways with former client, Sucker Punch Sally’s after a successful six-year run. Disagreement on compensation made the agency resign its client. Ken Conte, head of Rise Above Consulting states that Sucker Punch Sally currently doesn’t have the necessary marketing budget to take their brand to the next level.

I would suggest to Jesse James to open his Cisco Burger joints next to the best custom shops in the country, not where is Starbucks..

CYRILL, You Know what I say, you are the “TMZ” of the Motorcycle Industry. In case some of you out there do not know that Any News Story or Tradegy or Happening, or Fatality TMZ got it First. Some of the News literally happens before the Person is oficially Dead and TMZ new Michael was Dead before the Ambulance reached the Hospital! Your in that Class. I remember when Bruce Rossmeyer was Killed on his way to Sturgis Last Year, His Employees had not heard and you were already Writing and Editing the Story. That is just 1 example of the Many, many “fastest gun in the West stories” about Cyrill’s Blog. Well I just want to say that when a Story is published about the One Eyed Jack’s Saloon and you hear about Ray’s Son taking the Saloon off the Market because a Deal was pending for 9.2 million Dollars in US Funds, with a no Financing stipulation and a “As Is Where Is” Offer and all of the Major and qualified Buyers were all Present and asked to meet the “Offer On The Table” and no one steps over the $9.200,000.00 Bid and Peter Gold does a Pass, cause He is looking for another Mil. This Story is to me so unbelievable that an event like this really did happen and Ray Gold’s Son Fucked up a SLAM DUNK, a HOME RUN Deal over a figure of less then 10% of the “wanting price”, I might be of the opinion that Cyrill Huze missed something in this Story………..Cause Nobody Is That Stupid!!! I am of the opinion that If this Story is true to the Facts that Cyrill has reported , and I have No reason to think otherwise, Peter Gold needs to thank God that His Daddy, Ray came before him! Cyrill you the Man, and Peter you be the PUTZ!

You might have posted the names of a “few of them” as the NORMAL ROUTINE treatment of non-motorcycle rubber-neckers who’s only JUICE is the company they work for. They can use that card once and burn it. It all goes down (written).
Next time a snipe comes back for info, tighten the spigot a little. Once you’ve proven the stability and need for this site worldwide … or put another way, once “they” realize that m/c enthusiast of ALL types read this site every morning, and that oddly enough you seem to be getting “star” news before they do, well then, I reckon the fun begins in earnest, imo.
“Paper reporters” come and go, but their name stays the same. It’s a small world anyway, but a smaller m/c world.
