Looking for a strong solo seat bracket? Choose between the top one in fully polished stainless steel or bottom one in aircraft grade chromoly steel. Both are tig welded, offer 2 long slots for maximum adjustability. Of course, the accompanying pivot bung is sold in unfinished steel so that you can weld it to your frame backbone. An Allen cap bolt threads into the opposite side of the bracket, creating an efficient and durable hinge pin. Stainless steel hinge is $79.99. Chromoly hinge is $49.95. At Bitwell

Nice and clean.
Quality product.
Love to have one of these on my bikes…..simple and clean.
Finally somebody came up with a good solo seat bracket instead of those stamped piece ‘o crap chinzy ones I’ve been breakin’ all these years. Ridin’ along, hit a hard 2nd, and BOING yer teterin’ on the back fender still sittin’ on the seat! Back to the shop to weld it up AGAIN!! Wiz
Wow! Amazing copy of the original Fabricator Kevin seat bracket…good job Biltwell.
+1 Jason.
Check your facts Jason & “Builder”. The hinge on top is cast stainless steel and the second hinge below is a second generation Biltwell chromoly seat hinge which was revised so that it did not look like the Fab Kevin hinge.
Where is it made? I know where Fab Kevin builds his parts–Detroit. And I know which one I’d choose regardless.
THESE ARE CRAP 3/4″ SIDE TO SIDE PLAY IN MY SEAT. MADE IN CHINA. I REAMED AN INSTALLED BRONZE BUSHINGS IN IT BUT THEY ARE WARING OUT AFTER 4 MONTHS. I WILL BE CUTTING OFF AND INSTALLING A FAB KEVIN HINGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE…..
